Quand on parle de Food Stylist, on s´imagine souvent un petit chimiste, parfois même un peu magicien et tricheur, qui à l´aide de fioles pleines de colorants et autres produits inavouables transforme un plat cuisiné en une merveille esthétique, mais immangeable.
Pour moi la réalité est toute autre.
Je ne triche pas, je crée ou recrée une recette pour que la photo soit la représentation de la recette choisie.
When people first hear about “Food Styling” and “Food Stylists”, they usually picture it in their mind as a team of chemists -or wizards- who, with the help of colouring agents and other dubious products, can transform a dish into something that looks amazing… But has become absolutely inedible. Well, this is not what we do.
We do not cheat with food, we simply create or transform a recipe so that the final picture looks exactly how we would like to.
